The Foundation takes great pride not only in serving the community but in making grant seeking as painless as possible. To this end we commissioned a survey in 1999 to learn how nonprofits felt about working with the Foundation. Nearly 100 percent found our guidelines clear, our process fair and our responses timely.

The "How to Apply" section of our Web site has been created to provide for even greater access to the Foundation and to allow organizations to inquire online about applying to the Foundation. We do not wish this process to be cumbersome - rather, our intent is to give organizations a timely response as to whether or not they appear to meet the Foundation's guidelines and funding priorities, while minimizing the amount of paperwork involved. If you prefer, you may inquire through regular mail, which will not affect the outcome of your inquiry. To do so, contact Roger Gardner, President, Daisy Marquis Jones Foundation, 1600 South Avenue, Suite 250, Rochester, NY 14620.
